Dr. Palmer is a nationally recognized cosmetic restorative dentist. He completed his undergraduate studies at California State University at Fullerton where he received a full academic scholarship. Dr. Palmer attended Northwestern University Dental School and graduated in 1975. After graduation, he served his country in the United States Air Force where he gained tremendous experience in all phases of restorative dentistry.

Dr. Palmer was recruited by a large group practice in Southeastern Wisconsin and was there until 1988. During his time there, he served as the Clinical Director for the Racine offices. He also oversaw the professional standards of all of the offices in this group. While in Wisconsin, Dr. Palmer served on the state board of directors for the Academy of General Dentistry and the Committee for Alternative Delivery Systems for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin.

Family commitments required a move to Illinois in 1988. Dr. Palmer began his practice, Montgomery Dental Center, in Montgomery, Illinois. In June of 2000, he moved the facility to Oswego, where he could provide the kind of advanced quality care Kendall Pointe Dental is known for. This quality care is reflected in Dr. Palmer’s commitment to continuing education.

Dr. Palmer has been honored by the Academy of General Dentistry with a fellowship award recognizing this commitment to continuing education. He serves on the Peer Review Committee for the Illinois State Dental Society. He is a regular attendee at the Kois Center for Dental Excellence and the Board of Directors for Contemporary Dental Forum, a Seattle Study Club. He maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Fox River Valley Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics.

Dr. Palmer lives in Oswego Township with Judy, his wife of 33 years. They are an active couple who love to travel where you will often find them playing golf together.
